GPP Crusade No. 30 & Introducing My Hope Journal

Michelle Ward announced the Green Pepper Press Street Team's new crusade today. You can read all about it here.
What does a cat's tongue have to do with making art? Believe it or not, there is something called a Cat's Tongue Brush, but that's not what this crusade is about. Michelle has challenged us to add words to our art/visual journals.
This is a good challenge for me. I often create pages with colors and textures that I enjoy, but hesitate to add writing or anything else, for that matter. In December, I decided to start a journal based on the theme "HOPE". I have several backgrounds started, but few have any words. This is just the prompt I need to get me working on the hope project. I'll start the month by showing you my favorite hope page that I've already created.

  1. Hi Regina,
I love your "Hope" Journal. You have inspired me!
I also LOVE your brushwork on #29. Very nice textures.
This crusade is just what I need, I am so timid about writing over my pages.

  2. Beautiful Hope page. I like the soft colors, and of course the Bible verse is perfect. I like it written all wavy like that. Your little stamped and colored bird is adorable!
